ITC spent the day supporting the local charity Together Trust by taking part in an “It’s A Knockout” style event. It was a brilliant way to raise awareness for a great cause, while getting the whole team involved in something a bit different.
The format was exactly as expected: upbeat hosting, plenty of 80s themed humour, and a series of inflatable and slippery obstacles that quickly proved more challenging than they looked. The weather added to it too, with conditions turning the course into a full-on soak, but nobody was complaining. It all added to the fun and kept the atmosphere light from start to finish.
ITC finished third place out of four teams, but the result was very much secondary to taking part, supporting the charity, and enjoying the day together. There were still plenty of competitive moments though, with some strong opinions on how the scoring played out.
The event has now earned a spot on the ITC calendar, and the team are already looking forward to the next one.
Together Trust does vital work supporting vulnerable children and young people across the North West, and we are proud to have played a small part in helping to support their mission.
